Becoming a mom to my daughter, Hayden, inspired me to take my love for photography seriously. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion, leading me to take classes, research the craft, and practice through free sessions. Today, Megan Lappin Photography is built on that journey, capturing real moments and authentic connection through lifestyle photography.

Fun Facts About Me:

I’ve lived in NYC and Hoboken for most of my life, so city energy will always have my heart.

Before photography became my career, I spent my 20s and early 30s acting in commercials, TV shows, and voiceover work.

I bartended at a bar on the Upper West Side for 10 years, which definitely taught me how to connect with people quickly.

I met my husband 17 years ago at a gym in Midtown—mid sit-ups on a medicine ball—and now we share two beautiful daughters together.

Telling stories has always been part of my life, and photography is where it all comes together.
